Ejibola Adetokunbo-Taiwo

A passionate business woman, Ejibola Adetokunbo-Taiwo has been involved in entrepreneurship and providing access and resources for other entrepreneurs in her community for many years. As the founder of de Sedulous Women Leaders, Ejibola operates an organization that imparts mentorship, education, support, and empowerment to Black women, women of colour, and immigrant women who want to learn more about entrepreneurship in several provinces in Canada. 

Aware of their barriers to entry, Ejibola created the iLaunchHERproduct program in 2021 — a national initiative with the intention to increase the diversity of products available in retail spaces by connecting retail-ready BIPOC and immigrant entrepreneurs to buyers from different industries. In addition to bringing together business owners with professionals that can accelerate their growth, iLaunchHERproduct operates with the objective of positioning all products to be competitive and ready for shelf-presence by first facilitating an 18months-long program where participants receive the training, support, and tools that sets them up for success.
